El-Rufai Critiques APC's Governance and Corruption Claims

In a recent interview on Prime Time program aired by Arise Television, Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserting that the current administration believes everyone is a thief. He expressed concerns about the administration's determination to undermine individuals not aligned with them, particularly referencing an incident on Thursday involving the Department of State Services (DSS) attempting to arrest individuals.

This incident has ignited widespread debate across Nigeria. El-Rufai highlighted that investigations conducted in June 2023 found no evidence against former chief staff and senior officials, who were interrogated and faced frivolous charges.

He mentioned that his successor, Uba Sani, is enabling work in public office, contrasting the challenges faced by Nigeria from 1999 to 2007, during which he claimed that no aid or bribes were accepted by public officials.
