APC Vice Chairman, Salihu Speaks On Snatching Election Materials In Adamawa

APC Vice Chairman Salihu addressed allegations of election material snatching in Adamawa during a press conference in Yola. Earlier reports suggested that angry youth in Ganye had blocked Salihu's SUV, accusing him of hiding election materials.

A viral video of the incident raised suspicions of compromising the electoral process. However, Salihu denied these claims, stating that he was protecting sensitive materials from potential disruption by the PDP.

He cited specific polling unit results and noted that INEC officially declared Misa Musa Jauro of the APC as the winner of the Ganye State Constituency House Assembly election. Jauro narrowly defeated the PDP candidate, Buba Muhammed Joda, by a slender margin of 129 votes.

Salihu emphasized his commitment to a fair electoral process and rejected any allegations of misconduct.
