LP Candidate Warns APC of Tough Battle If Obi Secures ADC Ticket

Charles Ugomuoh, the Labour Party (LP) candidate for the 2023 Imo State governorship election, predicts a tough battle for the APC in 2027 if former LP presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi secures the ADC presidential ticket.

Ugomuoh, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, expressed his views in an interview, highlighting the potential impact of Obi's candidacy on the political landscape. He defended Obi's right to choose his party affiliation and criticized the LP's handling of Obi's departure.

Ugomuoh emphasized the need for the LP to adapt to changing political dynamics and suggested that Obi's move to the ADC could pose a significant challenge to the APC in future elections.
