Please Vote For ADC In By-Elections – Peter Obi Begs Supporters, Gives Reason

Former Governor Peter Obi has urged his supporters to vote for the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the upcoming by-elections. This appeal comes after the candidate of the Labour Party (LP) was recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) despite internal party conflicts.

Obi stated that the LP candidate emerged from a primary conducted by the Julius national working committee (NWC) during a leadership crisis within the party. Nenadi Usman's faction of the LP praised INEC for excluding the candidate submitted by the Abure leadership rival group.

Obi emphasized the importance of supporting the ADC candidate, as the electoral body is expected to recognize and publish the authentic list of candidates submitted by the lawful leadership of the party.
