APC Youth Leader Criticizes Makinde's Attacks on Tinubu

Olalekan Glori, the APC youth leader in Oyo State, issued a statement on Friday criticizing Governor Seyi Makinde for his recent comments against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Glori accused Makinde of attempting to divert attention from his administration's failures regarding security in Oyo State.

He highlighted ongoing issues such as kidnappings, robberies, and clashes between farmers and herders, questioning why these incidents have become recurrent despite significant security funding. Glori emphasized that the Amotekun security outfit was created to complement federal security agencies, not to replace constitutional state police structures.

He challenged Makinde to explain the vulnerability of communities in Oyo State and the lack of effective local security measures. Glori defended President Tinubu's commitment to reforming security and criticized Makinde for prioritizing media theatrics over addressing the real security challenges faced by the people of Oyo State.
