APC's Biodun Oyebanji Wins All LGs in Ekiti Election

Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious in the Ekiti State governorship election held on Saturday, winning all 16 local government areas. The results were officially declared by Prof.

Adenik Oladiji, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, in the early hours of Sunday. Oyebanji received a total of 38,026 votes, while his closest rival from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) secured 3,817 votes.

The election results from various local government areas were collated by different professors, with Oyebanji consistently outperforming candidates from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and PDP across all regions. The detailed results showed Oyebanji's significant lead, with the highest votes recorded in several local government areas, confirming his position as the elected governor of Ekiti State.
