Wole Oluyede, the People's Democratic Party's governorship candidate, trailed significantly behind at the same polling unit. The sources present conflicting figures for Oluyede's performance: one report indicates he received 156 votes, while two other sources state he secured eight votes.

Ayodeji Ojo of the Action Democratic Party finished in third position at this polling unit. Senator Bamidele expressed satisfaction with how the election was conducted at his polling unit, commending voters for their turnout and praising the Independent National Electoral Commission for its prompt deployment of election officials and materials across Ekiti's 16 local government areas.
