APM Raises Alarm Over Security Challenges in Lagos

The All Peoples Movement (APM) in Lagos State has expressed serious concerns regarding the rising security challenges in the area, including incidents of kidnapping, armed robbery, and cult-related violence. In a statement released on Tuesday, APM's Public Secretary, Ayodel Kazeem, highlighted the alarming situation that raises questions about the effectiveness of existing security measures.

Kazeem described Lagos as a critical economic hub where millions seek opportunities, emphasizing the need for heightened security awareness among residents. Recent videos circulating on social media have further amplified public concern about potential criminal elements infiltrating communities.

Kazeem urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movements or behaviors to the appropriate security agencies. He called for stronger collaboration between residents and security agencies to enhance crime prevention efforts, stressing that community members play a crucial role in safeguarding lives and property.

Kazeem reiterated the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring a safer environment and preserving peace and stability in Lagos State.
