PDP Caretaker Committee Validated by Appeal Court Ruling

Abdulrahman Moham, the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee, confirmed the committee's legitimacy following a recent Appeal Court judgment that ruled in favor of the caretaker leadership in nine appeals. Moham made this statement on Tuesday in Abuja, addressing journalists after a meeting with party members.

He expressed gratitude for the support received from party leaders and members, emphasizing the importance of unity as the committee prepares for the upcoming National Convention on March 29-30, 2026. Moham urged party stakeholders to rally behind the caretaker committee and warned against misinformation circulating on social media regarding the court's ruling.

He stated that the committee would await a certified true copy of the judgment before taking further legal steps. Additionally, he mentioned plans to reopen the party's national secretariat at Wadata Plaza once the certified copy is obtained, reinforcing the committee's commitment to managing the party's affairs leading up to the 2027 general elections.
