Tech Policy Press Offers $10,000 Fellowship for Nigerians to Explore Tech Governance

Tech Policy Press has launched the 2026 Fellowship program, offering Nigerians and international applicants a $10,000 stipend and global exposure to explore critical issues at the intersection of technology and democracy. The fellowship aims to support independent projects that provide new insights into how technology impacts society and governance.

Since its inception in 2023, the program has backed 15 fellows from seven countries, focusing on themes like AI, digital rights, and corporate-government power dynamics. The 2026 cohort will continue this mission, fostering collaboration and research in tech policy and governance, with participants expected to contribute significantly to public policy debates.
