Peter Obi Accuses Keyamo of Political Targeting

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, has publicly criticized Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation, for allegedly providing a misleading account of an incident involving Obi's vehicle at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Keyamo had claimed that Obi's vehicle was clamped for parking violations, which Obi disputes, asserting that the incident was politically motivated.

Obi's spokesperson, Zekeri Idri, stated that the minister's narrative differs significantly from Obi's account, highlighting concerns over the treatment of opposition figures in Nigeria. Obi emphasized that he has faced multiple incidents of vehicle clampings without similar actions taken against other vehicles nearby.

He called for Keyamo to publicly apologize and questioned the fairness of the actions taken against him. The controversy raises broader issues regarding the treatment of political figures and the enforcement of laws in Nigeria, with Obi demanding equal treatment under the law.
