Obidient Movement Accuses Keyamo of CCTV Manipulation

The Obidient Movement has accused Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation, of manipulating CCTV footage to undermine Peter Obi's presidential candidacy. In a media statement, the movement dismissed Keyamo's claims that Obi's vehicle was left unattended for 30 minutes, obstructing access to the airport terminal.

They argued that the released footage shows Obi's vehicle arriving at 8:28 PM and being clamped at 8:34 PM, indicating only a six-minute interval, not the alleged thirty minutes. The movement contended that Keyamo's narrative is contradicted by the timestamps and accused him of deliberately zooming in on the footage to mislead viewers.

Furthermore, they asserted that the footage undermines Keyamo's claims about Obi's vehicle blocking the airport entrance, as it shows other vehicles stopping behind Obi's without difficulty. The Obidient Movement criticized Keyamo for focusing on Obi instead of addressing significant challenges in Nigeria's aviation sector, such as rising airfares and poor airline infrastructure, reaffirming their support for Obi and commitment to their campaign for a "new Nigeria.".
