Youth Forum Commends DSS DG Ajayi for Security Reforms

Lere, the forum described Ajayi as “the quiet architect of Nigeria’s security renaissance,” highlighting his contributions amid challenges like terrorism and organized crime. The forum noted that many DSS achievements are not publicized due to the nature of intelligence work but emphasized that the known successes demonstrate the Service's strategic importance.

Ajayi's focus on personnel welfare earned him the nickname “Welfare Pro Max,” with measures introduced to enhance living conditions, medical facilities, and support for families of fallen officers. The forum also commended Ajayi's commitment to discipline and accountability within the DSS and his non-kinetic approach to national security, which includes humanitarian efforts benefiting widows and orphans across Nigeria.
