Coalition Backs DSS DG Ajayi, Endorses Tinubu's Agenda

A Coalition of Civil Society Organisations for Good Governance in Nigeria commended Oluwatosin Ajayi, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), for his dedication to national security and institutional effectiveness. During a rally in Abuja on Wednesday, Collins Eshiofeh, the National Chairman of Nigeria Citizens Watch for Good Governance, expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, endorsing its good governance agenda and reforms aimed at national stability and development.

Eshiofeh highlighted the approval of a new national minimum wage as evidence of Tinubu's responsiveness to workers' needs. The coalition praised Ajayi's leadership, noting that the DSS has become more professional and proactive under his guidance, effectively combating terrorism and criminality.

They passed a vote of confidence in both Tinubu and Ajayi, urging security agencies to uphold their responsibilities impartially and in accordance with the law, emphasizing the need for a just society where citizens' rights are protected.
