FCT Police Clarify Tragic Death of ARISE News Anchor in Abuja Robbery Incident

The Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, clarified the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of ARISE News Anchor, Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu. Contrary to initial reports of a robbery attack, it was revealed that Maduagwu jumped from a building out of fear during a robbery incident at her residence.

The police commissioner condemned the senseless act and assured the public of the commitment to serve justice. The incident occurred at Unique Apartments in Katampe, Abuja, where armed robbers gained access, leading to the fatal outcome.

The FCT Police Command expressed condolences to Maduagwu's family and emphasized the ongoing efforts to maintain security in the area.
