Armed Attack Claims Life of Ex-Ogun Broadcaster Oyesiku

Kitan Oyesiku, a former broadcaster for Ogun State Television, was killed by armed men alongside a security guard in the Agodo Community, located along the Abeokuta-Siun-Sagamu expressway, during the early hours of Sunday. The bodies of the deceased were deposited at the morgue of a state hospital in Ijaiye, Abeokuta.

The circumstances surrounding the killings remain unclear. An anonymous source reported that church members discovered the incident when they noticed Oyesiku was absent from church services.

Upon checking his residence, they found the security guard dead and later raised the alarm upon discovering Oyesiku's body. The Ogun State Police Command's spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed the incident and stated that the command would issue an official statement.

Oyesiku was well-known in media circles, and his death has sparked grief among colleagues and friends in Ogun State.
