Nigerian Army Honors Fallen Soldiers in Borno Ceremony

The Nigerian Army held a burial ceremony for soldiers who lost their lives during operations in Borno State. The event took place at the Maimalari Military Cantonment in Maiduguri, with Lt.

Col. Sanni Uba disclosing details of the ceremony.

Major Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar, during his address, highlighted the pain of the occasion and the sacrifices made by the armed forces in service to the nation.

He affirmed the courage and dedication of the fallen soldiers, noting that their sacrifices should not be forgotten. Abubakar assured the families of the deceased that their sacrifices would not be in vain and that they would receive due support.

Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, represented by Alhaji Mustapha Ali Yabe, expressed condolences and commended the troops for their resilience and commitment to safeguarding the state.

The ceremony was attended by senior military officials and local government representatives.
