Military Honors Brigadier General Omo Braimo in Burial

The Nigerian military held a burial ceremony for Brigadier General Omo Braimo and other officers who were killed by terrorists while on duty in Maiduguri, Borno State. The ceremony took place at the Maimalari Cantonment Cemetery and was conducted with full military honors.

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State attended the ceremony alongside Defense Minister Christoph Musa and senior military officials, including the Chief of Defense Staff and the Chief of Army Staff. Tributes were paid to the deceased, who were described as patriots that made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the country.

The ceremony included prayers for the repose of their souls, and the sacrifices of the fallen soldiers were acknowledged as a reflection of the cost of maintaining peace and security in Nigeria.
