Nigerian Army Destroys Bandits' Camps, Rescues Kidnap Victims in Kwara State

In a recent operation in Kwara State, the Nigerian Army, under the command of Major General Chinedu Nnebif, conducted a successful offensive against bandits. The operation, part of Operation Igbo Danu, targeted terrorist enclaves, including the notorious Garin Dandi in the Ifelodun Local Government Area.

The troops dismantled bandit logistics bases, dislodged criminal strongholds, and neutralized several terrorists. Many bandits fled, leaving behind abandoned camps and logistics systems.

The operation resulted in the rescue of numerous kidnap victims from different camps within the state. The Army emphasized the importance of community support in providing timely intelligence to combat banditry.

Ongoing efforts aim to further degrade terrorist capabilities and enhance security in Kwara State.
