Army Recovers N37m Cash Linked to Terrorism Financiers

On a recent operation, the Nigerian Army intercepted a suspicious vehicle at the Chabbal checkpoint, which was occupied by five individuals. A thorough search of the vehicle led to the recovery of approximately N37 million (37,000,000 Naira) concealed in a bag, alongside multiple mobile phones.

The suspects are believed to be linked to terrorist financing activities. This interception is viewed as a significant breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to dismantle financial conduits that support terrorist logistics operations within the region.
