Nigerian Army Mourns Deaths of Lt-Col and Captain

The Nigerian Army is mourning the deaths of Lt-Col Sanni Uba and Capt Paul Hassan, who were killed during terrorist attacks in Katsina and Borno. The attacks resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and the killing of 45 terrorists.

Maj Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar described the loss as a painful reminder of the true cost of military service. He emphasized the bravery and dedication of the fallen soldiers, stating that their sacrifices would not be forgotten.

Prof Babagana Zulum, the Governor of Borno State, expressed condolences on behalf of the state government and assured continued support for the families of the fallen heroes. The military's Operation Hadin Kai aims to combat terrorism in the region, and the recent attacks highlight the ongoing security challenges faced by the Nigerian Army.
