Army Investigates Death of Ogun State Worker in Shooting

The 35 Artillery Brigade, based in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has initiated an investigation into the death of Oluwaseyi Adeoy, who was reportedly shot during a confrontation involving military personnel at a demolition site in the Oril Imo area. The incident occurred while a ministry team, led by Mr.

Hamzat, was enforcing a demolition order against illegal structures. Eyewitness accounts suggest that soldiers opened fire, resulting in Adeoy being struck by a bullet amidst the chaos.

He was rushed to the state general hospital in Ijaye, Abeokuta, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. In response to the gravity of the situation, the brigade expressed its sincerest condolences to Adeoy's family and friends.
