Arokodare's Protest Forces Wolves to Cancel Training

Arokodare's protest at Wolverhampton Wanderers caused the cancellation of the team's pre-season training. The striker sat on the pitch to prevent the first team from training, demanding that the club accept a transfer bid from Fiorentina.

Arokodare joined Wolves last summer in a significant move but struggled to make an impact, scoring only three goals in 33 appearances as the team finished bottom of the Premier League. As Wolves prepared for life in the English Championship, they accepted a bid from Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor but rejected Fiorentina's offer.

New head coach Cesar Peixoto informed Arokodare that he would no longer train with the first team, prompting the striker to protest and refuse to leave. This situation escalated to the point where extra security was required to remove him from the facility, and he has since been excluded from the club's pre-season activities.

Arokodare had no prior club-related issues before joining Wolves but had previously been fined for a verbal assault on Mateus Mane.
