Arsenal Surpasses 1,000 England Caps Milestone

Arsenal Football Club has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 1,000 England caps, reaching a total of 1,002 caps. This accomplishment follows the club's representation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarter-final victory against Norway, where players Declan Rice and Noni Madueke started, and Bukayo Saka and Eber Eze played in the match.

Arsenal's achievement places them behind Manchester United (1,423 caps), Liverpool (1,209 caps), and Tottenham Hotspur (1,062 caps). The club's first England international was goalkeeper Jimmi Ashcroft in 1906, while Madueke is the latest player to earn an England cap, making his debut in September 2025.

Kenni Sansom holds the record for the most caps for Arsenal with 87 appearances, while Bukayo Saka, with 55 caps, is the current player with the most appearances and has scored 14 goals, surpassing Cliff Bastin's record of 12. Arsenal has had 73 players contribute to this milestone, with notable players like David Seaman (72 caps) and Toni Adams (66 caps) also recognized.
