Asagba of Asaba Congratulates Godfrei Odogwu on New Role

The Asagba of Asaba, Epiphani Chigbogu Azing, issued a statement congratulating Godfrei Odogwu on his confirmation as the Deputy Secretary-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide during a meeting of the global executive council held in Enugu. The monarch described Odogwu as a worthy and capable leader, emphasizing his commitment to community service and the advancement of the Igbo nation.

Azing noted that Odogwu's appointment is not just a personal achievement but a source of pride for the Asaba kingdom in Delta State. He expressed confidence in Odogwu's experience in administration, management, and entrepreneurship, which he believes will significantly impact Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.

The Asagba also commended Dr. Ngozi Olejem for nominating Odogwu for the position, which became vacant following the death of Chief Dan Okenyi.
