Ohanaeze Ndigbo Endorses Mbah for Second Term in Enugu

The Enugu State chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo officially endorsed Governor Peter Mbah for a second term in office during a meeting held at the Michael Okpara Square. The organization praised Mbah's visionary leadership and his commitment to transforming the state through infrastructure development, economic revitalization, and enhanced human capital.

The meeting also acknowledged President Bola Tinubu's strategic projects aimed at the South East, including the approval for the extension of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport and ongoing infrastructural projects like the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway. Key figures present included Bianca Ojukwu, who emphasized Mbah's leadership qualities, and other traditional rulers and community leaders.

The endorsement aligns with the unwritten agreement regarding the governorship seat rotation in Enugu State since 1999, promoting equity and political stability. Ohanaeze Ndigbo expressed confidence in Mbah's ability to continue fostering progress and unity among the people of Enugu State.
