Asharami Energy Achieves 6M LTI-Free Man-Hours

Asharami Energy, a subsidiary of Sahara Group, has reached a significant milestone of six million lost time injury (LTI) free man-hours at its OML 148 operations. This achievement underscores the company's commitment to operational excellence and safety leadership, aligning with Sahara's goal of producing 350,000 barrels of oil per day by 2030.

Lest Aihevba, Chief Technical Officer of Asharami Energy, emphasized that this accomplishment reflects the company's ability to execute complex operations safely. The milestone was celebrated with the unveiling of a safety plaque, attended by key executives including Adedeji Odunsi, Executive Director of Sahara Upstream, and Vincent Uwadilek, Asset Manager at PSC Asset B.

Odunsi commended the employees, contractors, and host communities for their dedication to safety, stating that the achievement was a result of consistent safe decisions and disciplined actions. The company aims to reach seven million LTI free man-hours next year, reinforcing its commitment to a zero safety culture.
