Ashley Young, a former England international with 39 caps, has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 40, concluding a 23-year career. Young began his career at Watford in 2003 and had significant stints at clubs such as Aston Villa and Manchester United, where he achieved considerable success, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, and Europa League.

He also played abroad for Inter Milan, winning Serie A, before returning to England to join Everton. Currently, Young is with Ipswich Town, where he signed a contract that extends until 2025.
