PDP Urges Women and Youth to Strengthen Political Engagement

On a recent occasion in Abuja, Samuel Anyanwu, the National Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), called on women and youth to aspire for higher political positions within the party. He emphasized the need for hard work to ensure the PDP remains strong and does not diminish.

During the inauguration of the PDP National Youth Leadership Consult Forum, Anyanwu highlighted the importance of mentoring young women and encouraging their political participation. He stated that young women should prepare themselves for the political landscape and engage actively, as their contributions are vital for the future.

The forum aims to mobilize at least 5,000 female youth across 27 local government areas within three months, with plans to provide tools and training to enhance grassroots political engagement. Ibrahim Bala Aboki, the PDP National Youth Leader, described the initiative as essential for reinvigorating youth participation in the party and strengthening its grassroots mobilization efforts.
