Ifeoma Onebunne Celebrates 50 Years of Impact and Elegance

Ifeoma Onebunne, an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader, celebrated her 50th birthday with an intimate dinner at Purple Jasmine Café in Ikoyi, Lagos. Known for her resilience and purposeful impact, she is a certified accountant and financial literacy expert.

Onebunne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, along with professional certifications including ACA. Her career began at Akintola Williams Chartered Accountants and later at First Bank of Nigeria before she transitioned to full-time entrepreneurship.

She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Canar’s Closet, a leading fashion destination in Sangotedo, and Canar’s Suites, an upscale serviced apartment brand in Lagos. Beyond her business ventures, she is dedicated to financial empowerment and serves as a Trustee of the Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development, promoting access to education and community development.

Onebunne is the widow of Dr. Roberts Ugochukwu Onebunne, a former Chief Medical Officer with the United Nations.
