Olagbende Celebrates 50th Birthday with Community Initiatives

Oluwashina Oluwaseun Olagbende, a lawyer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, will mark his 50th birthday on August 17, 2026, with community service initiatives instead of a large celebration. He is the founder and chairman of King Shina Group of Companies and president of the Oluwashina Olagbende Foundation.

His foundation has focused on food support, education, healthcare, and assistance to vulnerable individuals for nearly 15 years, funded solely by his personal resources. To celebrate his birthday, the foundation plans food distribution programs in five Lagos locations: Ikorodu, Ketu/Ojota, Oshodi, Agege, and Obalende.

Olagbende is also involved in youth development through mentorship and educational sessions, including an annual youth conference, with the 2026 edition set to attract around 600 participants. The theme will focus on financial responsibility and entrepreneurship.

Additionally, he is expected to launch an e-commerce platform by the end of 2026 to expand his business operations.
