Akpabio Predicts 180,000 Votes for Tinubu, Eno in Akwa Ibom

During the APC Congress, Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, projected that the party would garner 180,000 votes for presidential candidate Bola Tinubu and gubernatorial candidate Umo Eno in Essien Udim Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. This forecast was made shortly after the conclusion of the APC's local government congress at the party office, which emerged from a consensus arrangement.

Akpabio described the congress as peaceful and historic, signaling renewed grassroots endorsement for Tinubu and Eno ahead of future electoral contests. He emphasized that the people of Essien Udim have consistently demonstrated loyalty to the APC and its standard bearer.

Akpabio also noted that traditional rulers in the area have supported the leadership, asserting that there was no political consultation outside of Tinubu's presidency and Eno's governorship. This endorsement is not the first of its kind from the local government.
