NFF Appoints New Coaches for Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially appointed Abdu Maikaba as the head coach of the U20 Flying Eagles and Eboborits Uwejamomer as the head coach of the U17 Golden Eaglets. Abdu Maikaba has previously managed several prestigious clubs in Nigeria and served as an assistant coach for the U17 Golden Eaglets.

He is recognized for his tactical acumen and has led teams such as Enyimba FC and Akwa United FC to notable successes, including winning the prestigious Federation Cup in 2017. Eboborits Uwejamomer, the new head coach for the Golden Eaglets, has a background as a coach and analyst for the senior men's national team, the Super Eagles, and has recently worked with the youth academy of Wave Make Sport in Lagos.

His experience also includes coaching roles in England with clubs like Millwall FC and Nottingham Forest FC. This appointment is part of the NFF's strategic plan to enhance the development of youth football in Nigeria.
