NFF Appoints New Coaches for Golden Eaglets, Flying Eagles

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) announced the appointment of Abdu Maikaba as the head coach of the U20 national team and Eboborits Uwejamomer as the head coach of the U17 national team on Thursday. This decision is part of a reshuffle within the backroom staff of the national teams, endorsed by the NFF's Technical and Development Committee.

Abdu Maikaba has previously managed several prestigious clubs in Nigeria, including Enyimba FC, Wikki Tourist, Kano Pillars, and Plateau United, and was an assistant coach for the U17 national team, known as the Golden Eaglets. Eboborits Uwejamomer, who has served as a coach and analyst for the senior men's national team, the Super Eagles, has also recently been promoted from the academy at Lagos FC.

The changes in coaching staff follow the departure of Paul Aigbogun, who served as the head coach of the U20 team, and the restructuring of the U23 team.
