Radda Calls for Prayers to Combat Insecurity at Wedding

On Saturday, Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda attended the wedding of the children of Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri, a member of the House of Representatives for Mashi/Dutsi Federal Constituency.

The ceremony took place at the Mashi Central Mosque in Mashi Local Government Area and was attended by various dignitaries, including traditional and religious leaders. Governor Radda, who served as the representative (Wakili) of the groom, Yusuf Salisu Majigiri, called on Nigerians to continue praying for the nation as governments work to tackle security issues.

He stated that prayers are essential in supporting the efforts of security agencies. Former Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema, acting as the Waliyy (guardian) of the bride, Maryam Salisu Majigiri, also sought divine guidance for the couple.

Majigiri expressed gratitude to the attendees for celebrating with his family and wished the newlyweds a prosperous marital journey. Notable attendees included Deputy Governor Faruk Lawal, Speaker Nasir Yahaya Daura, and other political figures.
