Katsina Governor Radda Calls for Community Unity Against Banditry

On a recent visit to Dandum Local Government Area, Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda urged for stronger community support to tackle banditry and enhance security in the region. He addressed representatives from various religious organizations, including the Christian Association and Islamic Organizations, emphasizing the importance of unity and shared responsibility among the people of Dandum.

Governor Radda acknowledged the ongoing challenges posed by banditry, noting that the threat extends to neighboring Kaduna State. He instructed the local security committee to collaborate closely with the Commission of Internal Security and Home Affairs to implement effective solutions.

The governor also warned political leaders and community members against actions that could undermine security efforts and cautioned against the misuse of social media to spread misinformation. Alhaji Abdulmutallab Suleiman, representing various religious groups, expressed appreciation for the ongoing development projects in the area, particularly in healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
