ADC Ratifies David Mark and Others as NWC Members

During its national convention, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ratified several key figures, including David Mark as National Chairman and Rauf Aregbesola as a member of the National Working Committee (NWC). Other notable ratifications included Bolaji Abdullahi as National Public Secretary and Babachir Lawal as Deputy National Chairman for the Northeast.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has set April 22 to hear an appeal regarding a leadership crisis within the People's Democratic Party (PDP), filed by a faction led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki. This appeal challenges a previous ruling from the Court of Appeal, which had affirmed a Federal High Court decision that restrained the PDP from conducting its planned national convention pending compliance with statutory provisions.

The apex court directed that all parties involved must file their briefs within specified timeframes leading up to the hearing.
