"Voices of Eya: Cultural Reawakening at QGallery"

The "Voices of Eya" exhibition opened on June 6 at QGallery in Apapa, presenting a collection of works by female artists that delve into the themes of ancestral memory and human connection. The title "Eya," derived from the Urhobo language, signifies multiple meanings, including motherhood and life, and evokes profound emotions.

The exhibition features artists such as Adedoyin Adelani, Ogoluwa Obaseemo, Titilayo Abdulrazak, Cynthia Dafinon, Idemudia Merci, Carolin Useh, Juliet Ezenwa, Pearc Adiza Nzekw, Kored Aremo, Khadijah Adeboy, Faith Michael, Ok Gabriel, Faalilat Ibrahim, and Klaranz. Their works include large-scale abstract canvases, intricate sculptures, and multimedia installations, creating an immersive experience that encourages viewers to look beyond surface appearances and engage with deeper narratives.
