Atiku Urges Transparent Probe Into Abuja-Kaduna Train Derailment

Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the PDP, called for a transparent investigation into the recent Abuja-Kaduna train derailment that left at least 14 passengers injured. Atiku expressed concern over the safety lapses in Nigeria's rail system and demanded accountability from the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau and Nigerian Railway Corporation.

The incident occurred when a northbound passenger train derailed at the Asham Railway Station. Atiku stressed the urgent need for improved safety protocols to restore public confidence in the country's rail infrastructure and ensure passenger safety.
