Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has refuted claims of gifting a brand new Toyota SUV to Lieutenant Ahm Yerima, a naval officer involved in a public altercation with Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over a land dispute in Abuja. Atiku's media advisor, Paul Ib, dismissed the reports as completely false and fabricated, emphasizing that Atiku did not gift the officer as alleged on social media.

The incident involving Wike and Lt. Yerima occurred during an inspection of a disputed plot of land in the Gaduwa District of the FCT.
