Atiku launches Ask AA portal for direct voter engagement ahead of 2027

ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar unveiled a free online platform allowing Nigerians to submit questions on policy and governance issues.
Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, has rolled out a digital engagement initiative called Ask AA. The free-access platform went live on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 8:30 p.m., according to an announcement from Phrank Shaibu, the ADC campaign's Director of Strategic Communication.
The move comes as political parties intensify outreach efforts ahead of the 2027 general election. The portal allows Nigerian citizens to submit questions covering a range of national concerns.
Topics include economic policy, security matters, technology development, employment opportunities, and cost of living pressures. Atiku has committed to responding to questions personally, though his media team will also assist with handling submissions.
The platform operates at no cost to users. This initiative represents an attempt to establish direct communication channels between a major presidential candidate and the voting public outside of traditional campaign events and media appearances.
By creating a dedicated online space for question submission, the ADC hopes to demonstrate accessibility and willingness to address citizen concerns transparently. The portal's structure signals the campaign's emphasis on engagement with voters regarding both past political record and future policy direction.
The Ask AA platform is designed to gather input on governance priorities relevant to ordinary Nigerians. The initiative's timing places it within the broader 2027 election cycle, during which candidates are expected to clarify positions on pressing national issues.
Nigerians can begin using the portal immediately following its Thursday evening launch.
