Atiku Abubakar Wins ADC Presidential Primary in Osun

Atiku Abubakar emerged as the winner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary held in Osun State, obtaining 12,321 votes. He defeated Hayatu Deen Muham, who received 4,000 votes, and former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi, who polled 679 votes.

The electoral committee, chaired by Olusola Adepoju, declared the results, confirming that Atiku won in all 30 local government areas of the state. A total of 17,000 votes were cast in the primary election.

The announcement was made by Oluwaseun Abosed, the spokesperson for the Osun ADC, during a press briefing in Osogbo on Tuesday.
