Atiku's Aide Calls for DSS to Question Sunday Igboho

Paul Ib, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to engage Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba nation agitator, regarding his claims about the recent kidnapping of students and a teacher in Oyo State. Ib stated that Igboho possesses information that could assist in the ongoing efforts to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.

This call follows Igboho's comments during an interaction with members of the National Association of Nigerian Students, where he alleged that certain politicians were behind the kidnapping incident in Oriire Local Government Area. Ib questioned the lack of urgency from the federal government in responding to the Oyo incident compared to previous kidnappings, such as the abduction of 50 schoolchildren in Borno State on May 15, 2026.

He urged the DSS to publicly invite Igboho to disclose the names of those involved in the kidnapping, emphasizing the need for immediate action to ensure the safety of Nigerian children.
