NADDC Commits to Ethical Standards in Public Service

The National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) has pledged to enhance ethical conduct among its personnel to foster discipline, integrity, and accountability in public service. This commitment was made by the Director-General, Otunba Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, during a one-day sensitisation workshop on the Code of Ethics and Conduct in Public Service held in Abuja.

The workshop was organized by the NADDC’s Reform Coordination/SERVICOM Unit in collaboration with the Code of Conduct Bureau and the Bureau of Public Service Reforms. Osanipin, represented by Mr Ayinde Abdullahi, the Director of Vehicle Electrification, emphasized that public office is a position of trust and should not be exploited for personal gain.

He highlighted the importance of ethical conduct in public service, urging staff to apply the lessons learned in their daily responsibilities. Key principles outlined included integrity, accountability, professionalism, impartiality, and avoidance of conflicts of interest.
