Air Peace Plans Direct Flights from Lagos to São Paulo, Brazil

Air Peace, led by Chairman Allen Onyema, is set to extend its international flight services to Brazil, with plans to launch direct passenger flights between Lagos and São Paulo. The expansion initiative was hinted at by Chinedu Ezenwa, indicating the airline's strategic move to cover the Brazilian market.

President Bola Tinubu's visit to Brazil further solidified the airline's intentions, leading to the endorsement and approval of the venture. Air Peace has commenced the necessary processes, including securing bilateral air service agreements and regulatory approvals from both the Nigerian and Brazilian authorities.

The airline's fleet, which currently includes four Boeing 777 aircraft, is being prepared for long-haul operations, with São Paulo as a key destination. While the exact start date for the flights is yet to be confirmed, Air Peace emphasizes the importance of thorough preparations to ensure the safety and efficiency of the new route.
