Babajide Aims for WAFCON Glory and World Cup Qualification

Rinsola Babajide, a forward for Roma Women, is focused on achieving success at the upcoming Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and securing a spot in the next FIFA Women's World Cup. The tournament, scheduled to take place in Morocco from July 25 to August 16, will feature 16 teams for the first time, with 12 places available for the World Cup.

Babajide expressed that the pressure to defend Nigeria's title as champions of Africa is motivating for the Super Falcons. The team, coached by Justin Madugu, will begin their campaign against tournament debutants Malawi in Rabat on July 28.

Babajide, who is 27 years old, emphasized the importance of resilience and professionalism gained from her experiences in England, which she believes will contribute to the team's success in Morocco as they aim to retain their trophy.
