Babcock Graduate Overcomes Self-Doubt to Celebrate Success

Mosimiloluwa Olu-Onifade, a graduate of Babcock University, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with a Second Class Upper on 26 July 2025. Despite this achievement, she struggled with self-doubt and spent a month before announcing her graduation on LinkedIn on 27 August 2025.

Olu-Onifade expressed that she felt she had not done enough to celebrate her success, particularly when comparing her result to a First Class. Her undergraduate research project, which focused on the perception of health risks and safety measures among factory workers in Oluyole Local Government Area in Ibadan, earned her an A grade.

She completed her research project as part of her degree requirements. Despite her accomplishments, she waited for additional accolades before feeling ready to share her graduation news, indicating a common struggle among graduates with self-worth and recognition.
