Bauchi Governor Reshuffles Cabinet After Official Resignations

On a recent date, Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, executed a significant cabinet reshuffle in response to the resignation of several top government officials, including Chief of Staff Hassan Gamawa. This restructuring was deemed necessary to address the sudden vacancies and improve the state's executive council's functionality.

The announcement was made through a statement by the governor's media aide, Mukhtar Gidado. Key appointments include Hashimu Yakubu as the new Chief of Staff, while Moham Lawal R.

Zayam will supervise the Ministry of Power, Science, and Technology. Additionally, Hassan Usman El Yakub will oversee the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Other notable assignments include Usman Usman Shehu for the Ministry of Water Resources and Danlami Ahm Kawul for Rural Development. Amina Muhammad Katagum has been reassigned to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.

The governor expressed his wishes for the departing officials' future endeavors and urged the newly appointed members to diligently fulfill their responsibilities.
