Bauchi Governor Reshuffles Cabinet After Resignations

Bauchi State Governor Mohammed has announced the reassignment of commissioners in response to the resignation of six cabinet members, including the Chief of Staff to the Governor's House, Aminu Gamawa. The announcement was made through a statement by the Governor's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado.

The affected commissioners include Dr. Yakubu Adamu (Finance and Economic Development), Hajiya Hajara Wanka (Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management), Nuhu Zaki (Water Resources), Alhaji Farouk Mustapha (Katagum Rural Development), Isah Babayo (Special Duties), and Usman Modibo Abdulkadir (Science and Technology).

Governor Mohammed has approved the immediate deployment of these commissioners to oversee various ministries until new officials are appointed. The statement emphasized the importance of ensuring uninterrupted service delivery to the people.

Hashimu Yakubu, the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, will supervise the office of the Chief of Staff, while other officials have been assigned to oversee specific ministries, including power, local government, and humanitarian affairs.
