Bauchi APC Caucus Rejects Bala Mohammed's Admission

The Bauchi APC Caucus has firmly rejected the proposed admission of Governor Bala Mohammed into the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserting that it would harm the party's unity and electoral credibility in Bauchi State. During a meeting in Abuja led by Senator Sama Ila Dahuwa, the caucus expressed concerns over Mohammed's history of public attacks against the APC and its leadership, particularly President Bola Tinubu.

They noted that Mohammed has neither retracted his critical statements nor made efforts to reconcile with party members. The caucus emphasized that his admission would compromise the party's stability and warned against the self-serving motives of politicians who prioritize personal interests over collective success.

Aliyu Ilelah, a chieftain of the APC, described the governor's actions as disrespectful to party leadership and detrimental to Tinubu's re-election prospects in 2027. The caucus called for adherence to due process and internal democracy within the party.
